For the last 25 years we have held services in the old Methodist church, built 7 December 1899, that seated about 70 people. We started holding services on 11 December 1983 with my wife and two sons, but over the years the Lord has added to our numbers and there are now about 70 people who fellowship with us. The Lord lead us to find this historic building right in the centre of Kaiapoi. This will make it more central for all who come to church plus give us extended room to grow. We will seat double of what we had in our old church. Still a lot of work to do but we are in and holding services as of July 7 2008
